By definition,
self-catering accommodation is a type of lodging where food is
prepared by the tenants or visitors themselves. Normally, cooking
facilities are available on-site. This concept may initially turn off
the uninitiated, especially if they want to be pampered for the whole
length of their stay at a vacation spot. Self-catering accommodation,
however, has its own draws that appeal to certain types of guests.
We'll enumerate a few.
For one, guests are not
restricted to eat their meals at designated times of the day. What if
breakfast is served at seven but you'd rather wake up thirty minutes
before noontime? If you're going to prepare your own meal, there's no
need to adjust your sleeping habits.
This type of
accommodation also suits well those who value their privacy. Savor
your meal without the view of some stranger sharing the table with
you. Furthermore, you can satisfy your cravings if you have to
prepare your own meals. Of course, you wouldn't cook food you don't
plan to eat.
If Japanese cuisine is
your idea of gastronomic treat, you don't need to settle for the
Continental fare served at the hotel cafeteria. Self-catering
accommodation allows you to eat what you want and when you want to
while you're left alone to enjoy your well-deserved break.
